Nov 14 Auction Item Preview: An excellent original oil painting on panel by well listed American artist William Baptiste Baird. One of the best I have been able to find. An extremely precise and realistic portrayal of a mighty stag and a doe. Beautiful colors and details in the landscape and sky. Baird is more known for his many paintings of ducks in small format, but this one is as good as he could possibly paint.
